Privacy Policy

Effective Date: REPLACE_WITH_LAUNCH_DATE

Draft pending lawyer review. Final version will be posted before public launch.

This Privacy Policy explains what information HARK ("we," "us," "our") collects from you when you use the HARK iOS application, the harktime.com website, and the related services (collectively, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

HARK is a local-first application. Your sessions, journals, mindmaps, prayers, notes, and impressions live encrypted on your device and never leave it unless you explicitly choose to share. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

The only things that leave your device are:

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

1.2 Information collected automatically

1.3 Information we do not collect

2. How we use information

We do not:

3. AI insights — specifically

When you opt in to AI insights:

You can turn off AI insights at any time in Profile → AI Insights.

4. HARK Circle & Community

Circle: a small private ring of trusted people you invite. You decide what to share per session and per field. Members can react and comment on what you've shared. Nothing is shared automatically.

Community (Testimonies, Prayer Room, Wins, Listened): opt-in, post-by-post. Most posts are anonymous by default. The Listened feed never attaches your name, even on opt-in.

You can delete any Community or Circle post you authored at any time. Once another user has viewed or screenshotted your content, we cannot recall it from their device.

5. Data retention

To delete your account, sign out and write to support@harktime.com.

6. Children

HARK is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. International users

If you are accessing HARK from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using HARK, you consent to this transfer.

8. California residents — your CCPA rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete that information, the right to opt out of any sale (we do not sell), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Write to support@harktime.com to exercise any of these rights.

9. EU/UK residents — your GDPR rights

EU/EEA/UK residents have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to, and port their data. Write to support@harktime.com. We respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy at harktime.com/privacy and notify you in-app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
